Now is the best time to live, all people who are right now alive live in the most exciting time in the whole history of humanity. In the bible is more written about our time than about every other time, including the time when jesus walked on earth (quote from Chuck Missler). One of my favorite authors, Roland Pletts writes in his totally awesome book “Covenant of Glory” following statement:

“We are now witnessing preparations for the greatest conflict ever to be fought, except for the personal conflict Jesus fought at the cross. We are about to see the greatest acts of God since the Lord brought His people out of Egypt. Yet many in the church are asleep. Now is the time for the church to awaken from slumber and pray as never before. We need to pray for believers world wide; Jewish believers, Palestinian believers and all believers. Jacob’s salvation will bring life out of death. (Rom 11:15)”

Der Überwinder-Verlag

Letztes Jahr waren wir so verrückt und haben – nach einigem Rechnen und Überschlagen – einen eigenen Verlag gegründet, mit dem wir unsere Bücher verkaufen können. Warum? Nicht weil wir Langeweile haben, sondern weil wir festgestellt haben, dass wir die meisten Bücher sowieso auf unseren Konferenzen und Seminaren verkaufen und deswegen auf den normalen Buchhandel nicht angewiesen sind, bzw. dort sowieso keinen entscheidenden Umsatz gemacht haben.

Jetzt wird es in Zukunft wesentlich einfacher, unsere Bücher zu bekommen, denn man muss nicht mehr zum “Gemeindebüchertisch” oder zu unseren Veranstaltungen anreisen, man kann die Bücher (und Predigten, Hörbücher, Videos, Konferenzaufnahmen) bequem über unseren Onlineshop “Der Überwinder Verlag” bestellen. In Zukunft werden wir unseren Service auch auf amazon.de ausdehnen. Dadurch, dass wir jetzt unseren eigenen Verlag haben, kann man unsere Bücher natürlich auch in den anderen üblichen Onlineshops kaufen, aber wenn ihr unsere Gemeinde, bzw. unsere Dienste oder Gregs Dienst unterstützen wollt, dann solltet ihr auch bei uns kaufen ;-)

Bis jetzt bieten wir die Bücher von Greg Violi und Dr. Caroline Leaf an, zusätzlich auch noch die Aufnahmen unserer Konferenzen, teilweise auch auf Video. In Zukunft werden wir auch Ebooks im Kindle-Format anbieten, sofern wir Kapazitäten dafür haben.

Wir haben noch viel vor und viele gute Bücher und Autoren in der Warteschlange, alles davon Bücher, die es in deutscher Sprache noch nicht gibt, bzw. deren Inhalt man sonst nicht so leicht findet. Allerdings brauchen wir dafür noch mehr “Manpower” und gleichzeitig auch das finanzielle Fundament. Einige Bücher sind bereits fertig übersetzt. Da wir eine internationale Gemeinde sind, haben wir auch vor, zusätzlich zur englischen Sprache, unsere Bücher in russischer, griechischer, französischer und polnischer Sprache zu veröffentlichen. Das werden wir aber nur in Kooperation mit Verlagen aus den jeweiligen Ländern machen. Diese können sich bei Interesse melden.

I found a very interesting book about the “Abomination of Desolation” that Daniel and Jesus spoke about. This book answers many questions that I had concerning the prophecies in Daniel and Revelation. That every Christian can be and should be filled with the Holy Spirit would hardly seem to be a matter for debate among Christians. … I want here boldly to assert that it is my happy belief that every Christian can have a copious outpouring of the Holy Spirit in a measure far beyond that received at conversion, and I might also say, far beyond that enjoyed by the rank and file of orthodox believers today.

It is important that we get this straight, for until doubts are removed, faith is impossible. God will not surprise a doubting heart with an effusion of the Holy Spirit, nor will He fill anyone who has doctrinal questions about the possibility of being filled.

In light of this, it will be seen how empty and meaningless is the average church service today. All the means are in evidence; the one ominous weakness is the absence of the Spirit’s power. … The power from on high is neither known nor desired by pastor or people. This is nothing less than tragic, and all the more so because it falls within the field of religion, where the eternal destinies of men are involved.

Fundamentalism has stood aloof from the liberal in self-conscious superiority and has on its own part fallen into error, the error of textualism, which is simply orthodoxy without the Holy Ghost. Everywhere among conservatives we find persons who are Bible-taught but not Spirit-taught. They conceive truth to be something which they can grasp with the mind.

If a man holds to the fundamentals of the Christian faith, he is thought to possess divine truth. But it does not follow. There is no truth apart from the Spirit. The most brilliant intellect may be imbecilic when confronted with the mysteries of God. For a man to understand revealed truth requires an act of God equal to the original act which inspired the text. … “Now we have received, not the Spirit of the world, but the Spirit which is of God; that we might know the things which are freely given us of God.”

For the textualism of our times is based upon the same premise as the old line rationalism, that is, the belief that the human mind is the supreme authority in the judgment of truth. Or otherwise stated, it is confidence in the ability of the human mind to do that which the Bible declares it was never created to do and consequently is wholly incapable of doing.Philosophical rationalism is honest enough to reject the Bible flatly. Theological rationalism rejects it while pretending to accept it and in so doing puts out its own eyes.

Few there are who without restraint will open their whole heart to the blessed Comforter. He has been and is so widely misunderstood that the very mention of His name in some circles is enough to frighten many people into resistance.

It is no use to deny that Christ was crucified by persons who would today be called fundamentalists. This should prove to be disquieting if not downright distressing to us who pride ourselves on our orthodoxy. An unblessed soul filled with the letter of truth may actually be worse off than a pagan kneeling before a fetish. We are saved only when our intellects are indwelt by the loving fire that came at Pentecost. For the Holy Spirit is not a luxury, not something added now and again to produce a deluxe type of Christian once in a generation. No. He is for every child of God a vital necessity, and that He fill and indwell His people is more than a languid hope. It is rather an inescapable imperative.

Now the Bible teaches that there is something in God which is like emotion. … God has said certain things about Himself, and these furnish all the grounds we require. “The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing” (Zeph. 3:17). This is but one verse among thousands which serve to form our rational picture of what God is like, and tell us plainly that God feels something like our love, like our joy, and what He feels makes Him act very much as we would in a similar situation; He rejoices over His loved ones with joy and singing.

Here is emotion on as high a plain as it can ever be seen, emotion flowing out of the heart of God Himself. Feeling, then, is not the degenerate son of unbelief that is often painted by some of our Bible teachers. Our ability to feel is one of the marks of our divine origin. We need not be ashamed of either tears or laughter. The Christian stoic who has crushed his feelings is only two-thirds of a man; an important third part has been repudiated. Holy feeling had an important place in the life of our Lord. “For the joy that was set before Him” He endured the cross and despised its shame. He pictured Himself crying, “Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep which was lost.”

The work of the Holy Spirit is, among other things, to rescue the redeemed man’s emotions, to restring his harp and open again the wells of sacred joy which have been stopped up by sin.

Auch bin ich daran zu lernen, dass man in bezug auf starke Eindrücke vorsichtig sein muss. Wenn wir einen ganz bestimmten, inneren Eindruck bekommen, mag dieser von Gott sein, anber wir sollten dann zuerst einmal innehalten, still vor Gott werden, uns vor ihm von allem Eigenen entleeren und Seinen Sinn zu erfahren suchen. Wenn der Eindruck von Gott ist, wird er sich vertiefen, immer stärker und zu einer klaren, beständigen, unmissverständlichen Überzeugung werden. (Martha Wing Robinson, Strahlende Herrlichkeit, S.169)

Paulus sagt im Römerbrief, dass der Geist Gottes seine Kinder leitet und nicht treibt. Das ist ein gewaltiger Unterschied. Wenn immer Christen sich von inneren Eindrücken “getrieben” fühlen, wenn da ein Druck da ist, impulsiv oder schnell zu handeln, ist es ein anderer Geist.

Rom 8:14 Denn alle, die sich vom Geiste Gottes leiten lassen, sind Gottes Kinder.

Dr. Leaf – Scientific proof of generational iniquity / generational curses

Dr. Caroline Leaf points out in her blog article “Sins of the Grandfathers” that there is scientific evidence of something a christan would call “generational iniquity” or “generational curses”. The scientific keyword is “transgenerational epigenetics“.

Since many theologians are in denial concerning this topic, and have declared this as “old testament stuff” (and twisted scripture to “proof” it), they have now to re-read their bibles. Maybe God is still visiting “the iniquities of the father to the third and fourth generations” (Exodus 34:7)?

Treffen mit Surprise Sithole

Vom 28. bis zum 30. Mai ist Suprise Sithole aus Südafrika bei uns in der Gemeinde Hütte Davids. Surprise Sithole ist (zusammen mit Rolland und Heidi Baker) in der Leitung von Iris Ministries und hat ein ziemlich bewegtes Leben mit Gott. Er spricht 17 Sprachen, viele davon hat er nie gelernt, sondern Gott hat sie ihm geschenkt (unter anderem auch Englisch).

Geboren in eine Familie von Zauberern, wird Surprise als Junge übernatürlich vor dem Tod durch Rebellen bewahrt und begibt sich, nun Waise, auf Wanderschaft durch den Dschungel, er lernt Jesus kennen und vertraut sich ihm vollkommen an. Schon als junger Mann predigt und wirkt Surprise Sithole in armen, entlegenen Dörfern, in Bürgerkriegssituationen, oft in schwierigen Bedingungen oder unter Lebensgefahr. Immer wieder erlebt er Gottes übernatürliche Führung. Was Surprise Sithole kennzeichnet, ist Freude und ein einfacher, kindlicher Glaube. Wir wollen von diesem Mann lernen, wie man seine Freude inmitten von Leid und widrigen Umständen bewahrt und durch einfachen Glauben überwindet.

Interessanterweise ist Surprise Sithole schon der zweite Prediger aus Südafrika, wir hatten letztes Jahr Retha McPherson und ihre Familie bei uns und dieses Jahr wird auch noch Dr. Caroline Leaf zu uns kommen. Irgendwas verbindet uns wohl mit Südafrika.

Wolfgang Simson – Die Geburt eines apostolischen Landes

Ein sehr interessanter Artikel von Wolfgang Simson kam in meinen Posteingang. Ich habe ein starkes Zeugnis zu vielen Dingen, die er schreibt. Er schreibt zum Beispiel darüber, dass charismatische Leiter Arthur Katz 1993 nicht in Deutschland haben wollten.

Ich kann mich noch gut erinnern, als wir 2004 Arthur Katz das erste Mal in der Universität Bielefeld hörten, es war ein Wort, das zur Buße aufrief, in einer Radikalität, die “dem Fleisch” (der alten Natur des Menschen) weh tat. Aber alle, die darauf reagierten, waren nicht mehr dieselben. Durch Arthur Katz’ Dienst ist ja unsere Ortsgemeinde, “Die Hütte Davids” entstanden. Wir haben uns damals nicht getraut, wirklich Gemeindearbeit zu machen, aber als Arthur das zweite Mal bei uns war, hat er uns den Kopf gewaschen und wir waren gehorsam.

Seit dem ich Arthur und seine Bücher kenne, bin ich auch skeptisch, sobald irgendein frommer Heini die Worte “apostolisch” und “prophetisch” in den Mund nimmt. Jeder, der seine Bücher nicht gelesen hat, sollte sie besser nicht in den Mund nehmen…Hier ist der Artikel, den müsst ihr schon selber lesen:

Dr. Daniel Zopoula ist in Burkina Faso aufgewachsen, mit mehr als 30 Geschwistern, während einer Hungersnot. Mit 4 Jahren verstarb seine Mutter, und er musste mit seiner Schwester alleine überleben und um Essen betteln. Seine Schwester wurde mit 10 Jahren verheiratet, er wurde als Kindersklave verkauft und dutzende Male vergewaltigt. Nicht die besten Voraussetzungen für ein gutes Leben – doch dann kam Jesus und heute sind seine Vergewaltiger seine Angestellten…
